Our Mission

The Texas Aerospace Research and Space Economy Consortium (TARSEC) is committed to collaboration among government, academia, and industry to accelerate aerospace innovation, expand economic opportunities, and integrate space and aeronautics into the broader Texas economy. We will cultivate a robust ecosystem that supports cutting-edge research, workforce development, and sustainable growth for the betterment of all Texans and humankind.

The TARSEC Executive Committee, comprised of representatives from higher education institutions and industry leaders across Texas, drives our initiatives.

Membership

TARSEC is now accepting membership applications for qualifying organizations. Membership is free of charge, and provides opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and networking with industry leaders, government representatives, and academic experts.

TARSEC membership is composed of all entities identified in the Texas Education Code (Sec. 61.003) and any other entities that the TARSEC Executive Committee considers necessary. Consortium membership is now open to established businesses and non-profit organizations that demonstrate a significant presence in Texas.
