We were invited to join TARSEC last week as point of contact/rep for UT MD Anderson Cancer Center.
I am a professor in cancer medicine and immunology – see patients but do mostly research in immunotherapy, specifically cell therapy and dabble in microgravity and space science (we were funded by NASA to send T cells to space). if you want to know more, feel free to check our lab’s slightly irreverent website http://www.tcellsrus.com or linkedin under Cassian Yee. thank you

Very pleased to join this auspicious group and look forward to brainstorming and networking

    Best regards,
    Cassian

    Hi Cassian,
Last March, I connected #CPRIT with the #ISS Cancer Moonshot folks to encourage co-funding or matching funds for #cancer research. I dropped off a ISS Cancer Research report that I compiled and dropped it off during CPRIT’s oversight committee meeting. I hoping that a #CLD specializes in Cancer Research. Thoughts?

I worked in healthcare exclusively from 2014-2019 (digital health, medical devices, cancer, CVD, Type 2 Diabetes). Since then, I have been involved in SBIR TABA for NIH (vaccines, diagnostics, #therapeutics and medical devices). I recently learned of an EU company that has developed a microgravity platform to be used on earth. They are interested in working with pharma. I will be meeting with them soon. Would this type of thing benefit your work at UT MD Anderson?
