TARSEC Membership

Per statute, TARSEC membership is composed of all entities identified in the Texas Education Code (Sec. 61.003) and any other entities that the TARSEC Executive Committee considers necessary.

Consortium membership is now open to established businesses and non-profit organizations that demonstrate a significant presence in Texas, as defined below. Individual persons interested in TARSEC membership must be employed by a qualified business or non-profit organization, and membership should route through said business/non-profit. Individual membership outside of a business or non-profit is not available. Please see the TARSEC Membership Policy document for eligibility information.

  9. Members will lead committees and working groups to get after the TARSEC mandate to make well-informed, forward-looking, strategic funding recommendations and help to shape the future priorities for the state of Texas.

How to Participate

  1. Determine eligibility. Review the TARSEC membership eligibility requirements.
  2. Complete the membership request form. Please complete the form based on your organization’s information. A request does not obligate your institution to become a TARSEC member.
  3. Complete and submit the Consortium Membership Agreement. You will be prompted to upload the completed Consortium Membership Agreement to the membership request form.  
  4. Review period. After your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and our team will begin processing your submission.
  5. Membership decision. Once membership is approved by the TARSEC Executive Committee, the organization POC and each participant will receive notification from TARSEC and access to the member’s portal on the website.
